Connect WhatsApp to your AI agents
with the MCP server.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard that connects tools and data to LLMs. Unlimited Messaging exposes it as an MCP server: your AI agents - Claude, ChatGPT and the rest - can send and read WhatsApp messages directly, from your normal account, unlimited and with no Meta paperwork.
Background
What is MCP (Model Context Protocol)?
"MCP", or the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard launched by Anthropic in late 2024 that standardizes how AI agents connect to external tools and data sources.
Until now, plugging a language model into a real service - a CRM, a database, a messaging app - required code specific to each "model × tool" pairing. Every integration was a custom graft to write, test and maintain separately. MCP replaces that mess with a single protocol: a server exposes its capabilities once, and any compatible client (Claude, ChatGPT, a home-grown agent) knows how to discover and use them.
Concretely, an MCP server publishes a list of "tools" - named functions, with their typed parameters and descriptions. The AI agent reads this catalog, picks the relevant tool based on the user's request, calls it with the right arguments, then weaves the result into its answer. Authentication goes through OAuth, so the user grants access once, without ever pasting an API key into a chat window.
That's exactly what Unlimited Messaging does: we expose an MCP server that gives your AI agents direct access to WhatsApp. Instead of writing glue between the WhatsApp API and your assistant, you connect it in a few clicks - and the north star stays the same: your normal WhatsApp account, unlimited messages, with no Meta business account or templates to get approved.

Comparison
Custom AI integration vs Unlimited Messaging MCP server
The same goal - giving an AI agent the ability to send and read WhatsApp messages - with two radically different levels of effort. Here, line by line, is what a hand-coded integration costs compared to our ready-to-use MCP server.
| Custom AI integrationAPI + glue code | Unlimited Messaging MCP serveropen standard, turnkey | |
|---|---|---|
| Standardization | Protocol specific to each project | Open, universal MCP standard |
| Exposed tools | To define and code yourself | send / list messages, SIMs… ready |
| Authentication | Manual API key management | OAuth, one-click authorization |
| Setup | Days of development | A few minutes |
| Maintenance | On you with every change | Handled by Unlimited Messaging |
| Portability across AI clients | Rewrite for each assistant | Same server for Claude, ChatGPT… |
| WhatsApp account | Meta business account to set up | Your normal WhatsApp account |
| Volume | Billed per conversation | Unlimited messages, fixed price |
Our approach
An MCP server that plugs your AIs into WhatsApp
We keep the best of MCP - an open standard, discoverable tools, one-click OAuth - and connect it to your normal WhatsApp account, with no Meta paperwork.
An open standard, not a graft
Our server speaks the Model Context Protocol. Any compatible client - Claude, ChatGPT, a home-grown agent - discovers and uses it without any custom integration.
Ready-to-use tools
Send a message, list conversations, manage your WhatsApp accounts: the tools are already exposed, typed and documented for the AI agent.
OAuth, no key to paste
The user grants access once via OAuth. No API key to handle in a chat window, access revocable at any time.
Your account, unlimited
AI agents send from your normal WhatsApp account. No Meta business account, no templates to approve, unlimited messages.

How it works
Connect your AI agent to WhatsApp in three steps
- 1
Link your WhatsApp account
Connect the WhatsApp account you already use to Unlimited Messaging by scanning a QR code, like WhatsApp Web.
- 2
Add the MCP server
In Claude, ChatGPT or your agent, add our MCP server's URL and grant access via OAuth, in one click.
- 3
Ask the AI to act
"Send a WhatsApp to Marie to confirm the appointment." The agent picks the right MCP tool, calls it, and the message goes out from your account.
