What is an MCP connector for Claude?
An "MCP connector" builds on the Model Context Protocol, the open standard that lets Claude call external tools securely, directly from a conversation.
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) was introduced by Anthropic as an open standard to connect AI assistants to the systems where data and actions live. Concretely, an MCP server exposes "tools" (for example "send a message", "list messages") that Claude can decide to call on its own, at the right moment, without you writing a single line of code.
Unlimited Messaging is one of these servers: once added as a connector in Claude - whether in Claude Desktop or on claude.ai - it gives Claude controlled access to your WhatsApp. You stay in charge of authorization: the connection goes through an OAuth flow, and each sensitive action can ask for your confirmation before it runs.
