Your WhatsApps,
driven by ChatGPT
Plug UnlimitedMessaging into ChatGPT thanks to OpenAI's MCP / connectors support. ChatGPT reads your conversations and sends your WhatsApps in natural language - from your normal WhatsApp account, no Meta Business account, no templates, unlimited.
The concept
How do you get ChatGPT to send and read WhatsApps?
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that describes how an assistant like ChatGPT discovers and calls external tools; the MCP protocol has become the foundation of connectors on OpenAI's side.
Concretely, you add UnlimitedMessaging's MCP server as a connector in ChatGPT. From there, you talk to ChatGPT as usual: "Tell Léa on WhatsApp that I'll be late", or "Summarize my latest WhatsApp messages". ChatGPT understands the intent, picks the right tool and runs it - no copy-paste, no macro to set up.
The server relies on your normal WhatsApp account, already linked to UnlimitedMessaging. So messages go out from your usual number, seen by your contacts like any WhatsApp - with no Meta Business account, no template approval and no per-conversation billing.
Access is protected by an OAuth flow: you authorize ChatGPT once, you stay in control, and you can revoke the connection at any time. It's the opposite of a Zapier script or a patched-together webhook that holds keys in plain text and breaks at the slightest change.

Comparison
MCP connector vs manual integration
Plugging WhatsApp into ChatGPT "by hand" (Zapier, webhooks, copy-paste) versus the UnlimitedMessaging MCP connector, designed for assistants.
| Without MCP (manual integration / Zapier)Scripts, webhooks, fixed steps | ChatGPT + MCP UnlimitedMessagingNative connector, natural language | |
|---|---|---|
| Trigger | Keywords or buttons: you have to plan every scenario in advance | Natural language: ChatGPT decides when to call the tool based on your request |
| Reading & sending WhatsApp | A separate automation per action, often one-way | Read, list and send in the same ChatGPT conversation thread |
| Context | No memory: each script starts from scratch | ChatGPT keeps the context of the discussion and chains actions together |
| OAuth / security | Keys and tokens stored in plain text in the third-party tool | OAuth: explicit, revocable authorization, no secret to copy over |
| Setup | Hours of configuration, field mapping, repeated testing | Add the connector in ChatGPT, authorize, and you're ready |
| Maintenance | Breaks as soon as an API or a format changes | Tools evolve on the server side; the connector stays stable |
| WhatsApp account | Often a Meta Business account, templates and per-conversation fees | Your normal WhatsApp account, unlimited, with no Meta paperwork |
Our approach
A connector designed for ChatGPT agents
The UnlimitedMessaging MCP server gives ChatGPT clean, safe and unlimited WhatsApp tools - without ever leaving your usual account.
Natural language, real action
You write "send a WhatsApp to my plumber to confirm tomorrow at 9am" and ChatGPT does it. The MCP connector translates the intent into a tool call - no trigger or keyword to program.
Read and send
ChatGPT can list your conversations, summarize new messages and send replies, all in the same thread.
OAuth, you stay in control
You authorize ChatGPT once via OAuth. No key in plain text, access revocable whenever you want.
Normal WhatsApp account
Messages go out from your usual number: no Meta Business account, no templates to get approved.
Unlimited volume
No per-conversation billing. ChatGPT sends as many WhatsApps as your exchanges require.

Getting started
Plug ChatGPT into WhatsApp in 3 steps
- 1
Link your WhatsApp
Create an UnlimitedMessaging account and link your normal WhatsApp account by scanning a QR code, just like WhatsApp Web.
- 2
Add the connector in ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, add the UnlimitedMessaging MCP server as a connector, then authorize access via OAuth. A single authorization, revocable at any time.
- 3
Talk in natural language
Ask ChatGPT to read, summarize or send WhatsApps. It picks the right tool and runs it, from your usual number.
